How many publications can I create?

Any number of publications can be created.

How long can the Blätterkatalog software be used

The Blätterkatalog software can be used indefinitely. When purchasing the Basic, Premium or Premium Plus version, one year of maintenance is already included. After the year, the software can of course be reused indefinitely. Maintenance can be renewed for a further year.

What Blätterkatalog versions are there?

The Blätterkatalog web version is available in three different versions: Basic, Premium or premium plus version. Even the Basic version has full functionality and is limited to 30 pages. With the Premium version you create as many editions as you wish with unlimited number of pages and in the premium plus version you can insert your own logo.

Is there an Blätterkatalog optimised for mobile devices?

Yes, using the HTML5 technology means the Blätterkatalog is platform independent and can be displayed optimally on tablets and smartphones. The Blätterkatalog automatically adapts to different screen sizes. This dynamic adjustment of Blätterkatalog means it supports full functionality and typical sheet effect on all devices.

Is Flash Player required for Blätterkatalog?

No, Blätterkatalog uses pure HTML5-Technology, runs on any current plattform and browser and mobile devices. With Blätterkatalog you opt for a future-proof software.

Can I also publish my Blätterkatalogs in an app?

Blätterkatalog offers you the opportunity to publish all your publications as a standalone app with your account and app name. Publish your Blätterkatalog optimised for web and apps in your native iOS and Android app for smartphones and tablets, no programming knowledge required.
We love apps, so the Blätterkatalog app already has many useful features as standard and an intuitive, modern design for an outstanding user experience.

Can the Blätterkatalog be distributed on DVDs or USB sticks?

The Blätterkatalog Windows application can be distributed on DVDs, USB sticks and other data storage devices meaning Blätterkatalogs can also be used without an internet connection. The application calls up new information on the Internet, if possible, to make additional current content available.

Can the Blätterkatalog be distributed via email?

We recommend placing a link to the Blätterkatalog on the website. The link can also lead to a specific page in the Blätterkatalog. For security reasons, nearly all mail applications warn before opening attachments or block them completely, in order to protect users from viruses, Trojans, and other potentially dangerous content. We therefore advise you not to send email attachments with Blätterkatalogs.

What is the difference between an app and HTML5 web version?

The HTML5 Blätterkatalog is opened in a browser (e.g. Safari on the iPad) via a website. An application will be available in the App Store or Google Play and appears as a separate tile in the user interface. The app provides more functionality than the HTML5 Blätterkatalog, as it can make better use of the hardware, which is a big advantage for all graphical and functional aspects. However, it must first be created by us and then published in the App Store. You should therefore allow plenty of time for the creation of an app.

Are there regular software updates?

The software is continuously developed further and updates are available on a regular basis. With the purchase of a Basic, Premium or Premium Plus version, you will automatically receive access to all updates for one year. You benefit from improvements, adaptations and new functions. If you subscribe to the newsletter, you will automatically receive information as soon as an update is available. Maintenance can be renewed for a further year.

What do I get as part of "Maintenance & Support"?

The Blätterkatalog software is continuously being improved. Maintenance includes regular improvements, performance optimizations, updates of individual functions, as well as new standard functions, adjustments to operating system updates and layout revisions. As part of the flat rate for maintenance & support, you have unrestricted access to the latest software version for the valid period and you can contact our support team personally at any time by phone or email.

If I don't have any maintenance & support, will I still get help?

After the flat rate for maintenance & support has expired, you are welcome to take advantage of our paid support at any time. Your software license is valid indefinitely, but no more updates are available to you.

Where can I see what's new in a version?

In your account (MY ACCOUNT > ORDER HISTORY) you can click on “View Details and Downloads” and then click on the button "CHANGELOG WEBVERSION" which will provide you with an overview of all improvements and new functions.

How will i be informed about new updates?

If you register for the Blätterkatalog newsletter, we will be happy to inform you as soon as a new version is available. Alternatively, you can find information on the latest version under MY ACCOUNT > ORDER HISTORY > “View Details and Downloads”. Here you can click on "CHANGELOG WEBVERSION" which will provide you with an overview of the latest versions.

Can further functions be integrated into the Blätterkatalog at a later date?

Yes, our software is designed to make it quick and easy to add new functions for existing catalogs. Please contact us for more information.

Is there any free trial version?

Yes. Please feel free to try out the software in advance with the help of the trial version.

What do I get when I buy an Blätterkatalog licence?

When you buy the basic, premium or premium plus version of an Blätterkatalog, you get Blätterkatalog software that you can use

- to create any number of issues
- with as many pages as you want (as of premium version)
- for an unlimited period of time.

You do not share your data and host them yourself.

What does "work station" mean?

One license can be used on one workstation. You can also uninstall a license on a workstation and reinstall it on another, such as when a computer is replaced or responsibilities change.

How do I get the installation file once the purchase has been completed?

After purchasing a licence, you will receive an email with a link to the installation file and your licence key. Alternatively, you can always view this information on our website by clicking on "My Account". After logging in, you will see the licences you have purchased under "My Orders". Click an order to display the details incl. download link and licence key.
Execute the downloaded file and follow the instructions in the installation routine until the installation is complete.
Then start the software via the bkm.exe (Windows) or BlätterkatalogManager.app (OS X) in the installation directory specified during installation.
After the start you will be prompted to enter your licence key before you can start creating Blätterkatalogs. More details about licences can be found in Chapter 3 of the software manual.

Are there any ongoing or follow-up costs?

With Blätterkatalog you purchase software that you can use for an unlimited period of time for any number of publications. There are no follow-up costs or monthly fees.

Can I switch from one version to another at any time?
How do I upgrade?

You can switch from one version to a higher version by activating a valid licence key in the software.

Should I expect the issues created to contain third-party advertisements?

Blätterkatalog is 100% free from third-party advertising. All editions are always ad-free. Only your content counts.

How can I get technical support?
What should I do if I have questions about the software?

Our software is designed so that it can be used without training and without special IT expertise. You will receive detailed instructions in PDF format when you acquire the software. For further inquiries, please contact our support team who will be happy to help (billing at cost). If an error occurs in our software, you are of course eligible for support from us.

How can I extend "Maintenance & Support"?

After one year, your access to the latest Blätterkatalog version ends. Under MY ACCOUNT > ORDER HISTORY you can go to "View Licenses" and then you will be taken to the details page of your license. Here you will find a link "Extend". Enter your license number in the shopping cart.

Is maintenance automatically extended by another year?

You will receive a maintenance and support fee for one year at a time. This expires automatically after one year without you having to give notice. You will receive an e-mail with the option of prolonging the maintenance before the maintenance period expires. Alternatively, you can go to MY ACCOUNT > ORDER HISTORY and extend the maintenance under "View Licenses".

What happens when the year "Maintenance & Support" expires?

After one year, your access to the latest browsing catalog version ends automatically. Under MY ACCOUNT > MY ORDERS you can go to "View License" and then you will be taken to the details page of your license. Here you will find a link "Extend maintenance". Enter your license number in the shopping cart. If you do not renew maintenance, you may continue to use the Software for an unlimited period of time, but you will no longer receive updates. Support requests will be charged after the end of maintenance.

As an agency or service provider, can I create editions for customers with the Blätterkatalog software?

There are two different possibilities:

(1) You purchase the software for the customer and run it on your servers.
In this case, you can use the Basic, Premium or Premium plus version, depending on the customer's request. Please contact us regarding an agency discount.

(2) You acquire the Software in your own name and set it up to serve different customers (SaaS model).
If you want to offer Blätterkatalogs as a service to multiple customers, we have a special partner offer for you. This allows you to operate the software for your customers and offer it as a service. You can find more information here.

How is a Blätterkatalog created?

The Blätterkatalog manager allows you to quickly and easily convert PDF files on your PC or Mac into Blätterkatalogs. Simply select your PDF and let it be converted. The software allows you to enhance and process your document during creation.

How do I publish an Blätterkatalog?

After an Blätterkatalog is created, the folder with the finished Blätterkatalog must be uploaded to the web server. You can use a FTP Client or the Blätterkatalog Manager for this. If you do not have direct access, talk to your IT department or the agency responsible for your website about this. Once the catalogue is uploaded, you simply need to place a link to the index.html in the root directory. For further details please note Chapter 7 in the manual.

How long does it take to convert a PDF file into a Blätterkatalog?

A Blätterkatalog can usually be created very quickly. The default settings are already set to achieve the best results for most Blätterkatalogs. The time required for conversion of the PDF file is dependent on the performance of your PC, MAC or server. For a book with up to 100 pages, the waiting time is usually so low that it does not make sense to start another task in the meantime. The Blätterkatalog is created in no time.

Language And Design

Can the Blätterkatalog interface be displayed in different languages?

The Blätterkatalog user interface can be displayed in 32 languages: Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese and Turkish.

How can I add my own logo?

You can add your own brand or logo in the premium plus version. The logo can be displayed on the preloader and the edition. You can create Blätterkatalogs with any number of different logos. To insert your own logo, simply select it at the appropriate point in the Blätterkatalog Manager.

The Basic and Premium versions have a neutral design, i.e. they have the Blätterkatalog logo in the preloader and no logo in the edition, so that here your publication is in the foreground.
You can always easily upgrade from the Basic or Premium version to the Premium plus version if you want to create editions with your own logo.

How do I add image galleries?

You can easily insert an image gallery in the Blätterkatalog in a few steps via the graphical user interface.

How do I add a video pop-up?

Insert video clips that can be played directly in the Blätterkatalog. The videos are opened by clicking in a pop-up window.

How do I create a table of contents?

Inclueded bookmarks in PDF files are automatically transferred to the Blätterkatalog table of contents. You can further edit them in the table of contents in our software and structure it by adding subsections, of course.

How do I import/export a table of contents?

Table of contents can be imported in the following formats:
• PDF document with bookmarks
• Blätterkatalog with table of contents
• File (TXT or CSV)

How do I customise the appearance of my table of contents?

Define up to which level the sub-points of a chapter will be displayed automatically in the Blätterkatalog. The user always has the option to hide or show sub-points.

Can I link to web pages from the flip book?

Weblinks are usually taken automatically from the PDF file into the flip book. In addition, our software scans the text for further potential weblinks and e-mail addresses and automatically creates further links for the flip book. In the step "Linking", you can adapt these links by double-clicking or add additional links by selecting the place on the page by left-clicking. Weblinks should always start with http: // or https: // to be compatible with all supported browsers and devices.

Which link types are supported by Blätterkatalog?

Can I link from one page to another within an issue?

To do this, create a page link and enter the page number to which the link should lead.

How can I use my own buttons for links?

To better highlight links on the page, you can link a link to a button that you can place freely on the page. Our software already provides some graphics. Of course you can also use your own button graphics.

How can I manually set links to flip book pages?

In the step "Linking" you can adapt existing links by double-clicking or add additional links by selecting the place on the page by left-clicking. Weblinks should always start with http: // or https: // to be compatible with all supported browsers and devices.

Are links automatically set?

All links (weblinks, page references, e-mail addresses) that are already contained in the PDF are automatically included in the flip book. In addition, the software scans the text for further potential weblinks and e-mail addresses and automatically creates corresponding links in the flip book.

Is there an automatic linking option for a large number of products?

We offer an extension for the automatic linking of article numbers and / or product images. This feature is preconfigured to meet your individual requirements. Please contact us for further details.

Can the flip book be linked to an online-shop?

Yes, in the basic functional scope of all versions, linked products can be linked to the product detail page in the shop system.

In addition, a very close coupling of the flip book to the online-shop is possible with the aid of additional modules. In this way, product details from the web-shop can be displayed within the flip book and products can be conveniently placed in the integrated shopping cart so that the user does not have to leave the flip book. The ordering and payment process itself is handled safely through your online-shop.

Can I display additional product details and article data in the flip book?

For linked products, detailed information such as product description, variants, daily price or availability can be displayed in a pop-up window within the flip book. All product details are dynamically loaded from the web-shop and are therefore always up-to-date.

The integration is done via iFrame, so that the displayed information can be flexibly designed by the web-shop. Alternatively, interfaces of the web-shop in XML or JSON format can be read out to display the information in the flip book.

Is there an integrated order function and a shopping cart?

If you do not have an existing shop system, an order or purchase order request can also be triggered within the flip book.

All products are first collected in the integrated shopping basket. At the end of the order, all important customer data such as name and address are requested and the general terms and conditions are displayed. In the last step, the order is sent by e-mail in HTML format to a defined recipient address of the provider as well as a copy of the order to the sender.
Alternatively, a PDF order form can also be generated or the order can be transmitted to a predetermined interface, e.g. In XML format.

Legal Information

General Terms and Conditions

§ 1 General
1. These terms and conditions are applicable between the seller of the software (COMINTO GmbH, Klosterstraße 49, 40211 Dusseldorf | Register: Local Court of Dusseldorf | HRB 37889 - hereinafter COMINTO) and the buyer of the software (hereinafter customer). The subject of the T&C are the contracts of sale for the standard software listed below (§ 3).
2. COMINTO has the right to modify these T&C with a period of six weeks in advance. The customer shall be informed by email or in writing of any changes by COMINTO. When the customer is informed of the change, they will also be informed that all the changes will become part of the contract between the contracting parties if the customer does not object to this change within a period of six weeks from the notification of the change by email or in writing.

§ 2 Conclusion of the Contract
The contract for services by COMINTO comes about:
1. When the customer accepts the offer to conclude a contract on the COMINTO website by using the download option. This is done by entering all the necessary information for registration, selecting the offer and pressing "Buy" without prejudice to the amount of the agreed remuneration.
2. However, the customer may only acquire the product when they accept the T&C by clicking "Accept T&C", thus making the T&C an integral part of the order.
3. The contract can only be concluded with persons of legal age. With the confirmation of the T&C you also confirm your age of majority.
4. After the contract is conclude, the customer receives a separate email with the order confirmation, containing the order status and the T&C.

§ 3 Subject of the contract
1. The subject of the contract is the permanent transfer and the non-exclusive, perpetual right to use the Blätterkatalog software via download (licensed software) along with licence key.
2. The components of the contractual software are the Blätterkatalog manager that converts PDF files into Blätterkatalog data format, and the Blätterkatalog HTML5 web version for online display in the browser as well as the associated application documentation (also in printable form).
3. The Blätterkatalog software can be used to create a so-called flip catalogue as an online flip page ePaper (catalogue, magazine, brochure) from a PDF document (PDF or complete single-page with the same dimensions as a PDF). The Blätterkatalog manager thereby converts the PDF pages introduced by the customer 1:1 into the flip catalogue format. The design of the Blätterkatalog pages is exactly the same as the design of the submitted PDF pages. The licensed software does not create graphics or edit individual pages. The nature and functionality of the software contract arises conclusively from the website of COMINTO [Klosterstr. 49, 40211 Dusseldorf] demo version available for trial. COMINTO shall not be responsible for any further scope or functions. The functions included in the demo version are to be understood as service descriptions and not guarantees.
4. The source code of the software is not part of the purchase contract.
5. Software updates are included in the purchase price for the first year (12 months) after purchase of the Basic, Premium and Premium Plus versions. From the second year onwards, updates must be purchased separately if required. In the case of the Professional version, updates are not included in the purchase price and can be purchased on request.
6. Installation and configuration services are not covered by this contract.

§ 4 Use and exploitation rights of the customer
1. COMINTO grants the customer upon full payment of the agreed sum where appropriate a non-exclusive perpetual right to use the licensed software. This includes the following functions:
• Basic version: use of the software on one workstation (creation of Blätterkatalogs with max 30 pages per issue.).
• Premium version: use of the software on one workstation (creation of Blätterkatalogs with unlimited pages per issue).
• premium plus version: use of the software on one workstation (creation of Blätterkatalogs with unlimited pages per issue). In addition there is the option of inserting a logo in the toolbar of the Blätterkatalog and the preloader.
2. The customer is not entitled to analyse, translate, edit, decompile, reverse (reverse engineering), disassemble the software, libraries or any portion of the software components or integrate the software with other software or insert it into other application software. The customer is only entitled to decompile the software within the limits of § 69e UrhG [Copyright Act] and only if we have not provided the necessary data and/or information within a reasonable period after a written request to obtain interoperability with other hardware and software. COMINTO reserves the right to provide the necessary information in return for payment or to refuse to do so.
3. The customer is not entitled either themselves or through third parties to make modifications or interventions on the software, even in an attempt to eliminate any bugs.
4. Renting and lending the software, a copy of the software or the user documentation, granting sub-licences, and the use of the software within an Application Service Provider (ASP) or as a service software as a service (SaaS) is not allowed.
5. The customer is not authorised to produce a copy of the user documentation for third parties, to change it, if necessary, in order to continue to use it or to publish it.
6. The customer is entitled to transfer the acquired copy of the contract software and documentation to a third party if they completely surrender their own use and permanently remove/delete all installed copies of the program from their computers.
7. The customer is entitled to make a backup copy, if this is necessary to ensure future use.

§ 5 Purchase Price and Payment
1. The software is available for download as a free trial-version and a paid version in different designs.
2. The purchase price is payable using the payment method available on the website before downloading.
3. All prices are net, i.e. excluding the applicable sales tax.
4. The customer shall receive the invoice via email within five working days from the purchase date.

§ 6 Warranty
1. COMINTO shall be liable for defects in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions, particularly §§ 434 et seq BGB (German Civil Code).
2. Subject of the warranty is the software exclusively in the version supplied by COMINTO. Software errors resulting from interventions by the customer after purchase are not covered by the warranty and neither are errors on the customer's operating system or users or third-party products.
3. If the customer is a UA-97575032-1, it should check the contractual software immediately after receipt for obvious defects and immediately advise COMINTO of any defects that are found. Otherwise the warranty for these defects is void. The same applies if such a fault becomes evident later. § 377 HGB applies.
4. If the customer is a UA-97575032-1, COMINTO is initially entitled to supplementary performance, i.e. it can choose to remedy the defect ("repair") or provide a replacement. COMINTO is entitled to remedy defects by delivery of a new release or to carry out such changes to the software which may be necessary due to defects, at no extra cost for the customer, unless this leads to unacceptable impairments. In the event of a breach of the law, COMINTO shall, according to its choice, provide the customer with a legally faultless use of the contractual software or modify it in such a way that no third party rights are infringed.
5. The customer has to provide reasonable assistance to COMINTO to find and remedy a defect, for example by giving a detailed description of the defect in written form, making screenshots or describing the system. COMINTO is entitled to provide the warranty on the customer's premises.
6. The customer's right to reduce the purchase price or withdraw from the contract, in the event of the repair or replacement failing twice, according to their choice, remains unaffected.
7. The warranty period is two years or one year if a consumer is not involved in the transaction. The period begins when the software is downloaded.
8. Minor defects are not a reason for withdrawal.
9. If the customer is a consumer, the statutory warranty regulations apply without limitation.

§ 7 Right of withdrawal
If the customer is a consumer, when they make a remote purchase, they have a statutory right of withdrawal, about which COMINTO will provide information below in accordance with the legal standards.

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise your right to withdrawal, you have to inform us [Cominto GmbH Klosterstr. 49, 40211 Dusseldorf, Tel. +49 211 - 6000 16 81, Fax +49 211 - 6000 16 89, info@blaetterkatalog.de] of your intention to withdraw from this contract in an unambiguous manner (e.g. by post, fax or email). You may use the attached withdrawal form template for this purpose, but this is not compulsory.
In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to send us notice that you are exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal
If you choose to withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including shipping costs (except for additional costs arising in the event of selecting a method of shipping different from the most cost-efficient standard delivery offered by us), without delay, and at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which we received the notice of withdrawal from this contract. The repayment will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise explicitly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged fees for this repayment.

The right of withdrawal expires in accordance with § 356 para. 5 BGB before the expiry of the said period, if the consumer
• has expressly agreed that COMINTO should begin with the execution of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, and
• the consumer confirms they are aware of the fact that they lose their right of withdrawal with the start of the execution of the agreement.
This is done by a confirmation ("Check") of the corresponding declarations, without the acceptance of which the immediate download of the contract software offered by COMINTO is not possible.

§ 8 COMINTO's liability
1. COMINTO shall be liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence by COMINTO, its legal representatives or agents and claims for damages by customers arising from injury to life, limb, health or from the violation of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations). Essential obligations are those whose fulfilment is necessary to achieve the objective of the Agreement. Other claims for compensation are excluded. In case of negligent breach of a contractual obligation, COMINTO is be liable only for the extent of the damage which is foreseeable and typical for the type of transaction, unless there are damage claims by the customer from injury to life, body or health.
2. COMINTO is not liable for damages that could have been prevented if the customer had taken reasonable measures - especially regarding program and data backup.
3. The provisions of the Product Liability Act remain unaffected.

§ 9 Use of Customer Data/References
1. COMINTO will treat the customer information communicated in connection with the business relationship according to the relevant data protection regulations.
2. COMINTO is entitled to use the customer as a reference on the website or in other publications for the acquisition of COMINTO software. The reference can include both the name as well as any logo of the customer. The customer can object to a reference. COMINTO will then no longer use the reference in future.

§ 10 Final Provisions
1. The contractual relationship shall be governed by German law, the CISG is excluded. The place of fulfilment is Düsseldorf.
2. Side agreements made verbally shall not be valid.
3. The contract language is German. If these T&C (in German) have been translated into another language and made available to the customer, the German version shall govern the contractual relationship with COMINTO. This applies in particular, if there are anomalies or inconsistencies between the German version and a translated version.
4. Amendments and additions to this contract must be made in writing in order to be legally valid.
5. If individual provisions of this agreement are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
6. If the customer is a merchant or legal entity under public law or has no general jurisdiction in Germany, Düsseldorf shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
7. General terms and conditions of the customer do not apply.

In the Windows start menu, find a shortcut to the user guide in the folder "Blätterkatalog Manager". The corresponding PDF file is located in the program directory.

Are there any special requirements for the PDF file?

Required
Ensure that your PDF can be converted into the Blätterkatalog format, it must not be password protected and should not have crop marks.

Optional
A very good result can usually be achieved with a wide range of PDF settings. However, we recommend you consider the following PDF settings - especially if display errors occur in your catalogue:
• PDF/X-4 standard
• Fonts, images and colour profiles must be embedded
• Images should be in sufficient resolution for the output process
• RGB colour space

Which browsers and mobile devices are supported?

The Blätterkatalog HTML5 web version has no special hardware requirements. A typical, modern operating system like Windows 10, iOS or Android on the appropriate hardware with a current and popular web browser is sufficient to use the Blätterkatalog.

Can I simply open the Blätterkatalog via the index.html on my PC/Mac?

The Blätterkatalog HTML5 web version requires a web server if you want to use it without restrictions. In the last processing step of the Blätterkatalog manager, you can access the catalogue via the "Open Preview" option on your PC or Mac. The Blätterkatalog manager must remain open while you are checking the catalogue.

The text on the pages in my Blätterkatalog is too small despite zoom.
How can I enlarge it?

When creating a Blätterkatalog, you can set the zoom depth. Change the value before starting the convertion process. The Blätterkatalog has to be created again for subsequent changes.

The search function displays no results even with simple keywords.
Where is the error?

First, please check whether you can highlight and copy the text in the PDF file used. This is required for the search function in the Blätterkatalog. In the last processing step of the Blätterkatalog manager, you can access the catalogue directly via the "Open Preview" option on your PC or Mac. If the search function returns results in this case, your web server is most probably the cause of the problem. Please check the system requirements as listed in Chapter 1 of the manual.

Why is the additional data for products displayed incorrect or incomplete?

Please check that the CSV file uses UTF-8 encoding.
Special characters that may be added unintentionally when the file is created may also affect automatic processing and should be removed. Detailed error messages are usually found in the Blätterkatalog manager log directory. Your contact at Blätterkatalog will be happy to help you with the evaluation.

What does the error message "You have exceeded the permitted number of installations" mean?

Depending on the Blätterkatalog licence, you can use the software on one or two work stations.
The error message indicates that you have already reached this number and the licensing cannot be completed. If you want to change a work station, however, you can disable an already licensed Blätterkatalog manager. By doing so your licence can then be used for a new activation.
To disable your license, you can use the still activated Blätterkatalog Manager (if available) or you can login to your account.

Can pages be changed in a finished Blätterkatalog?

Pages in a Blätterkatalog that has already been created can be replaced or deleted. New pages can also be added. Our software provides a convenient graphical user interface for this under the "Result" step. The Blätterkatalog files are automatically updated to reflect the changes.

When a licence is activated, the message, cannot connect to the licence management or there is no internet connection.

If you use a firewall or proxy, it may be that the connection to licence management can not be established. In this case, please send us the necessary system information and receive an offline licence key.

I have created a Blätterkatalog. What happens next?

You need to upload the catalogue to your web server after you created it, so it can be accessed online through your website. For this you can use a FTP client or the Blätterkatalog Manager.
A FTP client is a program which allows you to connect to the web server to transfer files and folders. Typical FTP clients are, for example, "FileZilla" or "WinSCP".
The access and connection data required for accessing your Web server should be available to your IT department or the person responsible for your web server.
Alternatively, we can also create customised hosting. In this case we take care of the provision of the web server and send you access data you can enter in your FTP client.

Which files have to be uploaded to the web server?

When starting the conversion software, specify a working directory. All the necessary files are stored in this directory after the conversion. Upload the entire contents of the working directory to your web server to publish the catalogue.
When creating other catalogues, it is enough to upload the corresponding catalogue directory in the subdirectory "/catalogs".

The Blätterkatalog is uploaded - how can it be accessed?

It is accessed via the central index.php file (or alternatively via the index.html file). The "catalogue" parameter is needed to open different catalogues.

• <base URL>: The URL to the directory where you uploaded the Blätterkatalog data.
• <cataloguename>: The name you specified when you saved the Blätterkatalog in the Blätterkatalog Manager.
