In search of a shop system for all print and digital products, the Austrian Agrarverlag has approached the Blätterkatalog team. The publishing house was especially looking for a solution to sell all print and digital products online and to offer additional non-print articles.
In addition, the shop system is to be set up and maintained quickly and easily for each title. An important prerequisite was a clear, responsive design with space for title-specific adjustments.
It was started with the “Holzkurier”, which went live first with the new subscription shop and new web-shelf.
Shopware was selected as the basis for the shop system and all components were placed on this. All existing user data has been transferred to the new system to establish a leading system. At the same time, shop, Blätterkatalog web-shelf and website communicate via the Blätterkatalog SSO plugin for shopware.
Technically, all frontend components are implemented in responsive-desgin and follow the “mobile first” approach.
At the same time, the Austrian Agrarverlag is revising its websites and portals, so that all titles have a new look:
In the near future further publications will be moved and migrated to the new subscription shop system.
